Real therapy, on your couch. Secure video sessions with AHPRA-registered psychologists — same evidence-based care, same Medicare rebates, anywhere in Australia.

Who it suits

Telehealth fits the life you actually have.

Around half our clients now choose online sessions — some every time, some just when life gets busy. It might be right for you if:

  • You live regionally, or a long way from a psychologist you click with.
  • Work, kids or shift patterns make travelling to appointments hard.
  • You want evening sessions without the commute home after.
  • Leaving the house is part of what you're working on right now.
  • You simply talk more freely from your own space.
  • You travel often and want continuity with one psychologist.
  • You're a carer, or health makes attending in person difficult.
  • You want to start soon — online availability is usually earliest.

You can switch between telehealth and our Parramatta rooms at any time — many clients mix both. The care, the clinician and the confidentiality are identical.

How it works

Four steps, zero fuss.

No apps to install, no accounts to create. If you can open a link, you can do telehealth.

1 · Book your time

Book online or call — including evening appointments. You're matched with the right psychologist for your needs, usually within one business day.

2 · Get your secure link

Before each session we send a private video link by SMS and email. Encrypted, Australian health-grade video — never consumer apps, never recorded.

3 · Meet your psychologist

Click the link a minute before your time, from any phone, tablet or computer with a camera. The session runs exactly as it would in the room.

4 · Same care, same rebates

Medicare, DVA and most funding apply exactly as in-person. Invoices and rebate claims are handled for you after each session.

CBT, EMDR, ACT and couples work all translate well to video — your psychologist adapts the format, not the quality. If your situation genuinely needs the room, we'll say so and get you in.

What to expect

Your first weeks, step by step.

No surprises, no pressure. Here's how the early sessions usually unfold.

1

Before your session

Find somewhere reasonably private — car, bedroom, office with the door shut all work. Headphones help. We'll text the link an hour before.

Session one
2

During the session

Fifty minutes with your psychologist, exactly like the clinic. Worksheets and resources arrive digitally, so nothing gets lost.

Sessions two to four
3

If tech misbehaves

Your psychologist calls you straight back and continues by phone, or the remaining time is rebooked free. A dropped connection never costs you a session.

Fees & funding

Know your costs before you start.

We confirm your fee and any rebate in writing before your first session. If a funding body covers you, we bill them directly wherever possible.

  • NDIS, DVA, Workers Comp & CTP: usually no out-of-pocket cost when approved.
  • Private health: claim through your extras cover, with no referral needed.

Common questions

Things people ask before booking.

Is telehealth therapy as effective as in-person?
For most presentations — anxiety, depression, stress, trauma — research supports video-delivered therapy as comparably effective to in-person care. Your psychologist will tell you plainly if your situation is one that's better suited to the room.
Do Medicare rebates apply to telehealth?
Yes. With a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP, telehealth psychology sessions attract the same Medicare rebates as in-person sessions.
What do I need for a session?
A phone, tablet or computer with a camera, a reasonable internet connection, and somewhere reasonably private. We send a secure link before each session — no account or software installation needed.
Is it private and secure?
Sessions run on encrypted, Australian health-grade video — not consumer apps. Nothing is recorded, and the same confidentiality rules apply as in the clinic.
What if the technology fails mid-session?
Your psychologist will call you straight back by phone and continue, or rebook the remaining time at no cost. A dropped connection never costs you your session.
