Clear fees, and real rebates.
No surprises. See exactly what a session costs, what Medicare and your funding give back, and what you'll actually pay — before you book.
Most clients pay less than they expect.
Psychology is funded through several pathways in Australia. Many clients claim a Medicare rebate; others are covered through NDIS, private health, or a workplace claim. Here's how each one works.
Medicare
With a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, Medicare rebates a large part of each session.
- Up to 10 rebated sessions a year
- $101.55–$149.05 back per session
- GP referral & care plan required
NDIS
We support self-managed and plan-managed participants under Improved Daily Living and capacity-building supports.
- No Medicare referral needed
- Invoiced to your plan manager
- Reports for plan reviews available
Private health
If your policy includes psychology under extras, you can claim a set amount per session instead of Medicare.
- Claim on the spot with HICAPS
- No GP referral required
- Can't be combined with Medicare
Workers Comp & CTP
Work-related and motor-accident claims are billed directly to your insurer, usually with no gap to pay.
- Billed direct to the insurer
- Often $0 out of pocket
- Progress reports included
