ADHD Assessment
Comprehensive assessment for adult ADHD, including diagnostic clarification.
How it helps
Adult ADHD assessment at Mind Health follows international evidence-based protocols (DIVA-5, NICE guidelines). We integrate self-report (ASRS, CAARS-S), collateral input (CAARS-O if available), developmental history, executive function review, and screening for common comorbidities — anxiety, mood, sleep, substance use, learning difficulties.
Outcome: a comprehensive written report suitable for your GP, psychiatrist, workplace, or NDIS support coordinator.
Who it's for
Adults who want clarity on whether ADHD explains long-standing patterns with attention, impulsivity, or executive function.
What it helps with
- Attention & focus difficulties
- Impulsivity
- Executive-function challenges
- Long-standing organisation/time problems
- Diagnostic clarification
What to expect
Intake & history
A structured developmental and current-functioning history, plus standardised self-report (ASRS, CAARS-S).
Diagnostic interview
A DIVA-5 structured interview against DSM-5 criteria, with collateral input where available.
Feedback & report
A clear explanation of findings and a written report you can take to your GP or psychiatrist.
Fees & funding
Assessment is fee-for-service and quoted on referral. Some Medicare items may apply with a GP referral — ask us. A diagnostic report is required before a psychiatrist can consider medication options.
